The JDGlobalFX brand system
A restrained, premium identity for a modern global brokerage: obsidian and navy surfaces, disciplined gold, precise typography and calm motion. Consistency matters more than novelty.
01 · Logo system
Monogram, orbit, wordmark
The mark combines a JD monogram with an orbital ring — global reach and forward movement. The wordmark sets JD in gold and GLOBALFX in white.
Clear space
Keep clear space on all sides equal to the height of the J stem (≈ 60% of the monogram height). No text, controls or imagery may enter this area.
Minimum size
- Full lockup with tagline: 240px wide (digital) / 60mm (print)
- Lockup without tagline: 140px / 35mm
- Compact lockup: 100px / 25mm
- Monogram: 16px favicon, 24px UI, 32px app badge
Do / Do not
- Keep proportions intact
- Use approved colours only
- Preserve clear space equal to the J stem height
- Use the monogram for placements under 120px wide
- Keep the logo visually calm and premium
- Stretch or compress the logo
- Add shadows, bevels or glow effects
- Recolour the mark with unrelated colours
- Place on busy imagery without contrast
- Add unofficial symbols or taglines

Obsidian foundation, restrained gold
Obsidian and navy carry the majority of the visual field. Gold is a signal — CTAs, active states, dividers and selected data points. Green and red are reserved for market state.

Sora for display, Inter for reading
Two families, maximum. Sora brings geometric precision to headlines and the wordmark; Inter carries body copy and data with excellent legibility. Tabular numerals are always on for prices.

Buttons, cards, icons and charts
Buttons
Gold for the primary CTA, restrained gold outline for secondary, ghost for tertiary. Radius 8–12px. One gold button per view.
Cards & surfaces
Deep navy at 70% over obsidian, 1px white border at 7% opacity, 16px radius, soft 60px shadow. Hover lifts 2px and warms the border to gold.
Icons
Lucide line icons at 1.5–2px stroke, 16–20px in UI, 24px in feature tiles. Gold on a 6% gold tint square with a 25% gold border. No filled or decorative icon sets.
Charts
Dark canvas, fine 4% grid, gold/white for emphasis lines, green and red strictly for market direction. No 3D, no gradients on data series.
05 · Photography & illustration
Favour premium architecture, global city environments, market-data visualisations, abstract technology and cinematic financial imagery. Illustrations are geometric, line-based and monochrome with a single gold accent. Avoid bull/bear clichés and stock photos of traders pointing at screens.
06 · Spacing
4px base unit. Section padding 64/80/112px (mobile/tablet/desktop). Card padding 24–32px. Grid gap 16px. Max content width 1280px with 20/32/40px gutters.
07 · Radius & shadows
Radius: 8px controls, 12px inputs, 16px cards, 24px feature panels, full for pills. Shadows are soft and cool: 0 20px 60px -30px rgba(0,0,0,.7); gold glow reserved for the primary CTA.
08 · Motion
Fast, subtle reveals: 600–800ms ease-out fade and 18–24px rise on scroll; 200ms hover transitions; 60–140s orbit rotations for ambient visuals. Respect prefers-reduced-motion. No parallax, no bounce, no flashing.
09 · Voice & tone
Confident without hype. Professional without jargon. Premium without exaggeration. Transparent without unsupported promises. Lead with clarity, explain before promoting, never imply guaranteed outcomes, keep risk language visible, make every claim verifiable.
10 · Backgrounds
Layer obsidian with navy gradients, a 4% grid pattern masked radially, and one soft gold bloom per screen at ≤8% opacity. Never pure black across a whole page; never more than one bloom per section.

Logo downloads
SVG masters for every variant. Regenerate with `node scripts/generate-brand-assets.mjs` after editing the vector source.
